Courthouse Directions

Directions to the Champaign County Courthouse: 

FROM THE NORTH (BELLEFONTAINE AREA):  

Take U.S. Highway 68 South to Urbana.  U.S. Highway 68 turns into Main Street.  The courthouse will be located on your right, 1 block north of the square at 200 North Main Street, Urbana, OH.   

The Champaign County Common Pleas Court, General Division is located on the second floor in Suite 230, and the Clerk of Court’s Office is located on the first floor, in Suite 112. 

FROM THE SOUTH (SPRINGFIELD AREA):  

Take U.S. Highway 68 North to Urbana.  U.S. Highway 68 turns into Main Street.  Go straight through the round-about in the square.  The courthouse will be located on your left, 1 block north of the square at 200 North Main Street, Urbana, OH.   

The Champaign County Common Pleas Court, General Division is located on the second floor in Suite 230, and the Clerk of Courts is located on the first floor, in Suite 112. 

FROM THE SOUTH/WEST (I-75 CORRIDOR AND THE INDIANA BORDER): 

Take I-70 East toward Columbus.  Exit onto U.S. Highway 68 North to Urbana (approximately 15 miles).  U.S. Highway 68 turns into Main Street.  Follow Main Street through the round-about in the square.  The courthouse will be located on your left, 1 block north of the square at 200 North Main Street, Urbana, OH.   

The Champaign County Common Pleas Court, General Division is located on the second floor in Suite 230, and the Clerk of Courts is located on the first floor, in Suite 112. 

FROM THE WEST (PIQUA / ST. PARIS AREA): 

Take U.S. Highway 36 East in Piqua, through St. Paris to Urbana.  U.S. Highway 36 turns into Scioto Street in Urbana.  Follow Scioto Street to the square, where you will veer left around the round-about.  The courthouse will be located on your left, 1 block north of the square at 200 North Main Street, Urbana, OH.

FROM THE EAST (COLUMBUS AREA): 

Take I-70 West toward Dayton.  Exit right onto State Route 29.  Follow State Route 29 through Mechanicsburg toward Urbana.  State Route 29 turns into Scioto Street in Urbana.  Follow Scioto Street to the square, where you will veer right in the round-about.  The courthouse will be located on your left, 1 block north of the square at 200 North Main Street, Urbana, OH.

FROM THE EAST (DUBLIN/MARYSVILLE AREA): 

Take U.S. Highway 33 out of Dublin toward Marysville.  Follow U.S. Highway 33 to the Urbana, U.S. Highway 36 merge in Marysville.  U.S. Highway 36 will go through Milford Center, turning sharply to the right a couple of miles out of Milford Center.  Continue to follow U.S. Highway 36 into Urbana.  U.S. Highway 36 turns into Scioto Street in Urbana.  Follow Scioto Street to the square, where you will veer right in the round-about.  The courthouse will be located on your left, 1 block north of the square at 200 North Main Street, Urbana, OH.   

The Champaign County Common Pleas Court, General Division is located on the second floor in Suite 230, and the Clerk of Courts is located on the first floor, in Suite 112.

PARKING: 

HANDICAPPED: But for one designated handicapped parking spot, there is no public parking available behind the courthouse. An additional designated handicapped parking spot is available street side on the south side of West Court Street next to the Courthouse, nearest to the flag pole.  

NON-HANDICAPPED: Unlimited hour public parking is available in the county lot located to the west of the Presbyterian Church on the north side of West Court Street.  Limited 3 hour parking is available in the city lot located on the south side of West Court Street. Limited 2 hour parking is available street side in front of the courthouse.
